"I was born in Brazil - one of the most beautiful tropical countries in the world and home of a rich, lush, and exotic flora. I always had my heart set on one day being an ambassador and advocate for the preservation of this gift to humanity. Fast forward to 3 years ago when I was approached by the beyond talented artisans/artists who harvest, dehydrate, and preserve the plants in 18k gold. It was love at first sight! The rest is history and CARLA SHAW Sustainable Fashion was founded in July of 2021. In the middle of the pandemic, however, my desire in sharing this beautiful work, and to promote sustainability could not wait – when you do the right thing, any time is the right time.”
